Welcome to the web site of the Technical Committee 7 (TC7) of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR).
TC7 aims at promoting the use of pattern recognition methods in the analysis of data collected from satellites or airborne sensors used for Earth observation, and intends to offer an opportunity for interested researchers to gain a better understanding of the many diverse research topics in remote sensing that require contributions from the pattern recognition community.

the workshop proposal has been accepted by the ICPR organizers. PRRS 2012 will be along with ICPR 2012 in Japan.

there will be a special issue of IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing associated with PRRS 2010 - while being open to all researchers. The deadline for submission is October, 31, 2011.
